All Blocks - Finish the MCAS practice test
MCAS hints:
** Get plenty of sleep!! Arrive early and prepared.
** Answer EVERY question. Don’t leave anything blank.
** Check all your work/answers. You have unlimited time!
** You are given a formula sheet. Don’t worry about memorizing area/volume formulas
** In the calculator session, you don’t need your calculator for every question.
** What calculators can do for you:
~find zeros/maximums/minimums (2nd trace )
~solve equations graphically (graph both sides of = and find intersection)
~change a decimal to a fraction (math)
** In open response questions:
~Never leave them blank! Write down anything related to the problem.
ANY formulas, diagrams, facts you can remember…
~Write neatly and clearly.
~Answer in complete sentences and EXPLAIN what you are doing/thinking.
~Re-read your sentences to make sure they make sense.
~Make sure you have answered EVERY part of the question.
And remember to RELAX. You are going to do great!
